Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a friendly Cashier II to join our store team. You will provide excellent customer service, process transactions on a POS, and keep the food, beverage and merchandise area clean and organized to support a fast, friendly guest experience.

We’d like to see 2+ years of cashier experience, POS knowledge and merchandising/stocking experience. Flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service
• Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a positive attitude
• Process transactions on a POS register; maintain a clean, well-stocked area
• Assist with receiving product and stock merchandise on planograms
• Assist with training lower-level cashiers on duties and responsibilities
• Prioritize work according to store and management needs
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations
• Establish strong communication with leaders and co-workers
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
