Job summary

Kimco Realty is seeking a detail-oriented Manager of Cash Applications to lead cash receipts and application operations across multiple channels, including ACH, wire, checks, and tenant portals. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cash application workflows, strong leadership, and a collaborative mindset.

You will oversee high-volume postings, coordinate with Lease Administration, Treasury, Accounting, and IT to ensure accurate postings, reconciliations, and timely month-end close.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with REIT operations and real estate finance, including lease structures and billing cycles.
• Ability to interpret complex lease agreements and apply payments accurately.
• Ability to manage high-volume cash receipts in a multi-entity environment.
• Experience with administration of third-party portals.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cash application processes and post payments to tenant accounts.
• Ensure deposits are processed accurately and daily batches tie to receipts.
• Oversee receipt intake from lockbox, ACH, wire, checks, and portals.
• Prepare journal entries and bank reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor unapplied cash and drive timely resolution.
• Collaborate with Lease Admin, Treasury, Accounting, and IT to resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close with compliant reporting.
