Job summary

Kimco Realty Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Manager of Cash Applications in Jericho, NY to lead cash receipts and postings across ACH, wire, checks, and tenant portals. You will oversee daily cash application workflows, ensure accurate postings, and collaborate with Treasury, IT, and Accounting to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires extensive experience in cash applications, familiarity with ERP systems, and strong leadership to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or accounting.
3+ years of supervisory experience, including managing third party resources.
Experience with MRI, Yardi, JD Edwards ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Manage daily cash application processes and posting of payments to tenant accounts.
Ensure all banking deposits processed accurately and reconciled to receipts.
Oversee receipt intake from lockbox, ACH, wire, checks and tenant portal.
Collaborate with teams to prepare journal entries and bank reconciliations.
Lead and mentor staff, set performance goals, and drive process improvements.
Partner with Lease Administration, Treasury, Accounting, and IT to resolve discrepancies.
