KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing regional public accounting firm in Wakefield, MA. You will work in the Client Accounting Services Group, taking ownership of engagements and supporting the CAS/Advisory practice.

The role offers hybrid work in Wakefield, MA, with a path to broaden exposure beyond traditional audit and tax through client-facing responsibilities and close collaboration with management.

Competenze

• 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• CPA preferred but not required; experience with accounting software and technology is a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide outsourced accounting and client accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow analysis.
• Work directly with client management to identify accounting issues and provide recommendations.
• Support accounting system implementations, process improvements, and the continued growth of the CAS / Advisory practice.
