Job summary

GCS Recruitment is looking for an experienced Design Engineer III - Carrier Ethernet / Telecom Network Design. In this role, you will design scalable Ethernet services for enterprise customers and ensure efficient network deployments. Candidates should have strong experience in carrier-grade Ethernet environments and a solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess skills in fiber optic transport and proficiency in Microsoft Visio. This position requires exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills to support telecom infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of telecom or carrier networking experience required.
• Experience designing EPL, EVPL, ELAN, and Metro Ethernet services.
• Strong understanding of optical loss budgets and fiber path analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Ethernet network services for enterprise customers.
• Create detailed network designs and diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
• Support Layer 2 and Layer 3 service delivery architectures.
