Job summary

Consigli Construction 1 in New York seeks a skilled carpenter for full-time work across multiple job sites. You will design, build, install and repair structures and fixtures using wood, steel, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials, following blueprints and safety procedures.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 7 years of hands-on carpentry experience, be able to lift up to 100 pounds, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry loads up to 100 pounds
• Comfortable climbing and working from ladders or scaffolding
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Design, build, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, steel, fiberglass, drywall and other materials.
• Prepare project layouts and accurately estimate height, width, length, and other dimensions.
• Read and interpret blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
• Select appropriate materials for each task and join them using nails, screws, staples or adhesives.
• Use hand and power tools to construct and repair components.
• Travel to all assigned job sites as required.
• Follow all safety and company policies.
