Qualifications

• 5+ years of general construction experience, incl. carpentry
• Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA standards
• Able to pass drug screen and background check; overtime/weekends possible

Responsibilities

• Read and study blueprints, sketches or plans for material needs and dimensions
• Select lumber or materials and prepare layouts with framing tools
• Mark cutting lines, shape materials, and assemble with fasteners
• Verify trueness with plumb bob and level; erect framing and subflooring
• Build stairs, install partitions, finishes, trim, and hardware
• Install window frames, doors, and weather stripping; install floors
