Job summary

Legacy Ranch in Midland, TX is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist residents with personal care, meals, and activities. This role supports daily living, helps with medications as needed, and contributes to a safe, respectful environment.

You will follow resident Service Plans, monitor health changes, and report to supervisors. Must be at least 18, able to lift up to 50 pounds, read and write English, and work well in a team with a positive, cheerful attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet in-service training requirements.
• Desire to work with seniors while upholding privacy, dignity, independence.
• Able to organize time and work with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Reading, writing, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal services per resident Service Plans.
• Assist with medications and treatments as indicated.
• Support social/recreational activities and meals.
• Maintain infection control and a clean, safe environment.
• Monitor changes in resident needs and report them.
• Respond to emergencies promptly.
• Adhere to dignity, privacy, independence in care.
