Job summary

Homestead Health Care in Fort Gratiot, MI is hiring caregivers to support residents in our senior living facility. You will assist with daily living, hygiene, mobility and companionship.

Responsibilities include helping with dressing, grooming, medication administration per physician orders, charting, and coordinating with the team. We value reliability, a positive attitude, and punctuality; requires background check, HS diploma or GED, and ability to lift 50 pounds; every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Every other weekend required.
• Positive attitude and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, incontinence care as needed.
• Administer medications and injections per physician orders and maintain accurate charts.
• Maintain a clean environment and assist with light housekeeping as needed.
• Communicate changes in condition to supervisor and complete documentation.
