Visiting Angels is hiring a Senior Care Assistant to support clients in the Boise area, including Melba, with personal care, companionship, and daily activities. You’ll work flexible shifts and benefit from weekly pay and ongoing training.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and strong communication skills. Training in First Aid is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support light physical exercise or walks with clients.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescription medications on schedule.
• Provide mobility assistance at home and during appointments.
