Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living in Hendersonville, NC is hiring Care Givers to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in a safe, home-like environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting dignity and independence while engaging residents in enrichment activities. Applicants should have CNA certification preferred, high school diploma or GED, and strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse's Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management, and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident's room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety.
• Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating).
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
