Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is hiring Care Givers to join our community. The Care Giver provides hands-on care and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe, home-like environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and engaging residents in life enrichment. Candidates should have a CNA certification preferred, be 18+, and demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively with Residents and coworkers.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed.
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
