Job summary

Clarendale of Algonquin is seeking hospitality-focused Caregivers to join our team. You will interact with residents daily to provide compassionate care that supports health and well-being, working as part of a caring team.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meals, activities, and safety. We offer day and evening shifts, competitive pay from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, and full-time benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of caregiver experience preferred.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience working with senior citizens preferred.
• Passion for helping people with compassion and empathy.
• Ability to collaborate as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks (dressing, grooming, bathing, etc.).
• Help with mealtime and dining, coordinating with kitchen staff.
• Support resident engagement and mental health through activities.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.
• Communicate with residents and families to provide reassurance.
