Job summary
Clarendale of Algonquin is actively seeking a hospitality-focused Nurse to deliver direct nursing care to residents and supervise Caregivers to ensure high-quality care.
Key duties include adhering to physicians' orders, assisting with ADLs, reporting changes, coordinating with departments, and keeping the Health Services Director informed. This is a full-time on-site role in Algonquin, IL.
Qualifications
- Current valid Illinois nursing license (LPN or RN).
- Passion for helping people in a compassionate and empathetic way.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a care team.
- Experience working with senior citizens preferred.
- Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies in our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care according to physicians' orders and in compliance with recognized nursing practices, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and promote independence.
- Identify and report changes in residents' medical/behavioral conditions and participate in care plans.
- Coordinate nursing care with other departments and caregiving teams.
- Provide daily status reports to the Director of Health Services about conditions and needs.
