Job summary

The Ivy at Berkeley, managed by Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Care Provider to deliver personal assistance and daily care to residents, enhancing independence and quality of life. Responsibilities include ADLs, safety, confidentiality, and teamwork with a supportive staff.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal skills to interact with staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while preserving dignity, safety and confidentiality.
• Report observed changes in residents' condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
