Job summary

Discovery Senior Living in Delaware is seeking caregivers to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in a safe, home-like setting. The role emphasizes maintaining dignity, safety, and independence for our seniors, with a supportive team environment.

You'll assist with daily living activities, respond to call bells promptly, and participate in enrichment programs while upholding our standards of excellent care and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred and high school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older; prior experience with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication and compassionate, resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance.
• Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells.
• Maintain clean and organized resident rooms and work areas; provide companionship and meaningful activities.
• Notify supervisor if a resident’s care needs increase; support safety and dignity.
