Job summary

Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center is seeking caregivers to provide direct care and daily living assistance to neighbors in a Fort Morgan facility. The role includes bathing, grooming, meal service, and reminders, with a focus on patient comfort and privacy.

The position requires high school completion or GED, CPR and First Aid certification, and basic computer skills. Shifts are 8–12 hours, with holidays and weekends possible, in a non-remote, in-person setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or G.E.D preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification and computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing care per care plan including bathing, laundry, housekeeping, meals, grooming, reminders and toileting.
• Provide privacy while giving personal care and documentation of neighbor information.
• Coordinate medical and non-medical appointments and transportation for neighbors.
• Support neighbors with mental, emotional and physical well-being and report changes to physicians or supervisors.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and neighbors' rights at all times.
• Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
