Job summary

One You Love Homecare – San Antonio is seeking a caring Caregiver for a part-time role in the Alamo Ranch area. The schedule offers 16 hours per week across 4 days, with compensation at $16.50 per hour.

Prior senior homecare experience is preferred and CNA training is a plus. You will provide ADL support, homemaker services, and engage clients to promote well-being, while documenting tasks and communicating with the management team.

• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience with seniors.
• Comfortable using a mobile app for client updates.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADLs support such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility assistance.

We have a unique schedule for the right Caregiver, in the Alamo Ranch area.

• Monday and Tuesday 11am to 2pm
• Thursday and Friday 9am to 1pm
• 16 hours for the week. Great part time role!
• 16.50 per hour with at least 2 years of Senior Homecare experience

What You’ll Do as a Caregiver:

• Provide compassionate care tailored to each client’s personalized plan, including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Offer homemaker services like meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
• Engage with clients through conversation and activities that enhance their day and support their mental well-being.
• Document care tasks and communicate effectively with both the client and our management team.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Caring Heart: You’re passionate about helping seniors and creating a positive impact.
• Great Communicator: You can connect with clients and team members effortlessly.
• Experienced Professional: At least two years of caregiving experience is preferred.
• Minimum 2 year experience working with seniors, currently enrolled in a nursing program, or completion of a CNA course
• CNA training (not required, but a plus!)
• Reliable and Trustworthy: You have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a commitment to excellence.
