Job summary

Senior Helpers in Las Vegas is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide companionship, assistance with daily living activities, and non-medical care needs. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have a driver's license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• 1 year of experience as PCA, CNA or Home Health Aide preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check & drug screen.
• CPR & First Aid certifications required.
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through conversation and hobbies.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support non-medical care needs and hospital recovery.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide caring companionship through conversation, help with hobbies, meal preparation, and more
• Assist with diet monitoring, walking, personal hygiene care, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist with non-medical care needs including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery

Job Qualifications

• Must have a driver's license, valid auto insurance, your own reliable transportation, clean driving record and willingness to drive a reasonable distance. Must take vehicle to shift in case client needs transportation
• 1 year of field experience as a PCA, CNA or Home Health Aide is preferred but we will train the right candidates
• Must be able to pass State and Federal background check & drug screen
• Must get a current TB and physical prior to beginning work with us
• Must obtain CPR & First aid certifications
• Must provide 2 personal and 2 professional references
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients
• Proficient communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned
