Job summary

NHC HealthCare Parklane in Columbia, SC is seeking an Activities Assistant to develop and implement a holistic wellness program for residents across long-term care, memory care, or rehab settings. Day-to-day duties include creating engaging activities that improve quality of life and meeting scheduled assessments and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be self motivated, creative with positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm.
• Must be able to work with family members, partners, and the community.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a well-rounded wellness program for Long Term Care, Memory Care or Rehab patients (may include some weekend/holiday hours).
• Timely completion of assessments, care plans, and associated paperwork.
• Ensure all local, State and Federal guidelines regarding programming are met.
• Bring the "fun" to activities and programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
