Sapphire Nursing at Wappingers in New York is actively seeking a Director of Social Work. The ideal candidate will be professional, compassionate, and outgoing, with experience in social services and in skilled nursing/long-term care.

The role will plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct social service programs to meet residents' emotional and social needs. The position requires MSW or LMSW, state licensure as applicable, and experience with adult populations.

Formación

• MSW or LMSW is required.
• Experience in the field of social work providing services to an adult population as required by state regulation if applicable.
• Two to five years experience in social work providing services to an adult population is preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Licensed as required by state regulations if applicable.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct social service programs.
• Assure that the medically related emotional and social needs of residents are met.
• Communicate with management to ensure coordination of services to residents.
• Document case management notes in residents' files as necessary.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
