Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents in senior living communities. You will work with a team to develop individualized care plans using evidence-based techniques and coordinate with medical orders and clinical conferences.

The role emphasizes private, function-based treatment sessions with a Monday–Friday schedule, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth in a not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain before starting employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Set treatment goals and develop/implement Speech Pathology programs from full clinical evaluations.
• Provide rehabilitative services as part of a coordinated team under medical orders.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate care plans.
• Treat residents one-on-one with private sessions and functional-based approaches.
