Laurel Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. You will assess, treat, and document speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs for residents, delivering individualized plans in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) required.
• Experience in speech therapy with older adults preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Assess and identify the speech therapy needs of patients with cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with center staff to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
• Conduct speech therapy sessions to improve patients' communication skills, cognitive abilities, and swallowing function.
• Document patient progress and outcomes, and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and evaluations.
