Job summary

Cedar Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Clemmons, NC is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support residents with personalized therapy and interdisciplinary care.

You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, develop care plans, and collaborate with nursing and medical staff. A master's degree and state licensure are required; CCC-SLP is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid state licensure as an SLP.
• CCC-SLP preferred but not required.
• Experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for working with the geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and medical staff to ensure effective outcomes.
• Provide education to families and staff on therapy techniques and communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all guidelines.
