Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Texas to join a compassionate rehabilitation team.

You will evaluate and treat residents with swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, setting goals and implementing evidence-based therapy within a collaborative care model. You will work weekdays with no weekend or holiday requirements, with benefits including 401(k), comprehensive insurance, PTO rollover, licensure reimbursement, and CEU

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain prior to starting employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement therapy programs based on full clinical evaluations.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, function-based treatment sessions.
