Job summary

StoneBridge Owensville is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to oversee nursing care for residents at our Owensville, MO community. You will coordinate with CNAs and other staff, ensure medication administration accuracy, and uphold physician orders and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a current state license to practice as an RN.
• Current CPR certification; additional nursing specialty certification desired.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by CNAs and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work of nursing team members.
• Prepares work assignment sheets with resident safety in mind.
• Reports staff shortages to nursing management and assists with evaluations.
• Coordinates medication administration and pharmacist communications.
• Performs nursing assessments and notifies physicians of status changes.
