Job summary

StoneBridge Owensville is located in Owensville, MO and seeks a Registered Nurse to plan, coordinate and manage nursing care for residents in our skilled nursing community. You will supervise CNAs, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians to deliver compassionate geriatric care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to policies, and ongoing assessment to improve resident outcomes, with a focus on INTERACT-based care and resident safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a current state license to practice as an RN.
• Current CPR certification; additional nursing specialty certification desired.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, procedures or regulations.
• Ability to present information clearly to groups of staff and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by nursing assistants and others for whom they are responsible.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work of nursing team members.
• Provides safe medication administration and treatments as ordered.
• Performs nursing assessments and notifies the physician of status changes.
• Coordinates nursing care to avoid unplanned hospital discharges using INTERACT.
• Maintains documentation and ensures compliance with policies and laws.
