Visiting Angels Longview is seeking caring Patient Care Assistants (PCA) to support seniors in Longview and the East Texas region. Join a dedicated team that values compassionate service and community involvement.

This role offers opportunities to grow skills in dementia or Alzheimer’s care while delivering comfort and companionship. The PCA will assist with medications, mobility, personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and transport as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients' input.
• Run errands or accompany clients to appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
