Job summary

Visiting Angels Longview seeks a Patient Care Aide (PCA) to support seniors in the East Texas area, including Longview and nearby towns. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal planning, mobility support, and transportation assistance to help clients stay safely at home.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, strong communication skills, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. First Aid training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on schedule.
• Help with shopping and groceries as needed.
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients.
• Assist with mobility and doctor visits when required.
