Job summary

Reflections Community Support in Guiseley is seeking a Compassionate Home Care Senior Care Officer to manage the day-to-day office operations and allocate resources to deliver a responsive high-quality service to the community. You will routinely audit compliance, prepare for CQC inspections and ensure adherence to essential standards and infection control.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage day-to-day office operations.
• Ability to audit compliance and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare for CQC inspections and ensure compliance with essential standards.
• Understand Health and Safety policies and infection control.
• Coordinate staff recruitment, interviews and appraisals.
• Maintain staff records and training schedules.

Responsibilities

• Audit service user medication audits, assessments and reviews.
• Recruit staff, arrange interviews, appraisals and supervisions.
• Monitor absences, holidays and standards of care.
• Ensure communication between staff, service users, family and stakeholders.
• Attend and contribute to monthly staff meetings and weekly office meetings.
• Deal with complaints and compliments promptly.
• Process new referrals and allocate staff with the right skill set.
• Create personalised support plans where needs assessments are carried out.
• Arrange reviews and risk assessments for care staff and key workers.
