Job summary

Golden-Harbor-Assisted-Living in Wisconsin seeks a Director to serve as the direct assistant to the Administrator, overseeing daily operations, care coordination, staff management, and regulatory compliance to maintain high-quality resident care.

The Director collaborates with leadership, care teams, residents, and families to maintain safety, confidentiality, and smooth operations while supporting the Administrator in reports, audits, and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; healthcare/management coursework preferred.
• CBRF certifications or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in assisted living or senior care.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with EMARs and healthcare documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Administrator in managing the community's overall operations.
• Lead in the Administrator’s absence and ensure continuity of leadership.
• Create and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required.
• Oversee care planning meetings and ISP implementation.
• Coordinate resident admissions, ISPs, and care assessments.
• Supervise staff, onboarding, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Wisconsin DHS 83/89 and HIPAA.
• Foster resident and family relations; coordinate transportation where needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in audits and quality initiatives.
