Ivy Park at Santa Monica, managed by Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in medication administration and provide direct personal care to residents. You will work with housekeepers and maintenance staff to uphold the company’s mission and values.

The role requires coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, maintaining accurate care records, and ensuring safety. On-call shifts demand flexibility and teamwork across departments to deliver quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills and compassionate patient care.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• Ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff and residents.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
