Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is a premier senior living operator based in Irvine, California, overseeing Ivy Living and Oakmont Senior Living communities. The Medication Technician role supervises and assists in the administration of medications to residents, while delivering direct personal care and encouraging participation in activities.

You will coordinate with pharmacies and physicians, maintain confidential records, and ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with medication in a RCFE preferred.
• Completion of training/certification may be required per state regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests, following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
