Job summary

Glen Park senior living seeks a compassionate Medication Technician to assist residents in an RCFE. You will administer medications per Title 22, order supplies, document care, and collaborate with medical professionals to promote health and independence.

This in-person, full-time role requires Live-Scan clearance, TB test, CPR/AED certification, and experience caring for 20+ residents per shift. Benefit package available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medication administration and Title 22 regulations.
• Experience delivering compassionate care to seniors in an RCFE or similar setting.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with basic needs in an RCFE setting.
• Administer medications according to Title 22 regulations and physician orders.
• Order and reorder medications per physician instructions.
• Monitor medication administration records and report errors.
• Document care and communicate with physicians and medical staff.
• Schedule resident doctor appointments and coordinate care.
• Support resident comfort and engagement with the care team.
• Maintain safety and composure during emergencies.
