Job summary

Morada Abilene is hiring Care/Medication Technicians to provide hands-on care and emotional support for residents in a warm, home-like setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health changes, and ensure safety and dignity for each resident.

Ideal candidates have prior senior care experience; CNA, CPR, and First Aid certifications are preferred. Flexible full-time and part-time options available, with benefits and employee growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires care experience with seniors or elderly residents.
• High School diploma or GED required; CNA certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift and check on them regularly.
• Observe, report and document symptoms or changes in residents’ conditions.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and security system alerts.
• Assist with continence management and proper disposal of supplies.
• Serve and collect food trays; assist with meals as needed and monitor appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas; follow hygiene standards.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation).
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities; greet guests and family members.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned and needed.
