Senior Care Therapy is hiring Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) in Morristown, NJ to provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents in SNF settings. SCT handles billing, credentialing, and pre-certifications, allowing clinicians to focus on clinical care within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active LMFT license in the state of practice.
• Effective oral and written English communication.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational skills and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide in-person services at facilities up to 45 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions in subacute or skilled nursing facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams and families.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
