Job summary

Good Samaritan in International Falls, MN is seeking a part-time cook/kitchen associate to prepare and serve meals for patients and staff, following menu and HACCP guidelines.

You will operate a variety of kitchen equipment, ensure sanitation, and work closely with a team in a dynamic healthcare setting. A high school diploma is preferred; Serv Safe may be required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Serv Safe may be required depending on location.
• Basic Life Support may be required depending upon location.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves food for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
• Adheres to HACCP guidelines and sanitation standards.
• Operates kitchen equipment (mixers, ovens, kettles, etc.).
• Maintains labeling and storage of food and equipment.
• Works with internal customers and demonstrates teamwork.
