High Shoals Health & Rehab seeks a dedicated kitchen associate to prepare meals according to dietician-approved menus and to operate a range of kitchen equipment. You will work at a pace to ensure timely meal service for residents, following standardized recipes and dietary orders.

The role requires reading menus, maintaining hygiene, and supporting the tray line and dishwashing routines within a nonprofit, mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares various foods depending on menu created by dieticians for each meal of the day.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as mixer, meat slicer, food processor, oven, steamer.
• Cleans work surfaces and stores unused foods after shift.
• Follows standardized recipes and ensures meals meet dietary orders.
• Monitors portion controls and assists in tray line service.
