The Gardens of Nashville is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our facility for residents.

You will perform general cleaning, laundry, waste management, and inventory tasks while collaborating with staff to create a welcoming, safe environment for seniors. We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork and offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Laundry Services: washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff.
• Waste Management: dispose of trash and recycling properly, keep areas clean.
• Inventory Management: restock cleaning supplies and equipment; report shortages.
• Safety & Sanitation: follow safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Team Collaboration: work with staff to keep the facility well-maintained.
• Resident Engagement: engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
