Job summary

The Gardens of Roseboro is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents. You will perform cleaning, laundry, and waste management tasks across the facility, working closely with staff to ensure hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Laundry Services: washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff.
• Waste Management: dispose of trash and recycling materials properly.
• Inventory Management: restock cleaning supplies and equipment; report shortages.
• Safety & Sanitation: follow safety and sanitation protocols for a clean environment.
• Team Collaboration: work with staff to maintain a well-kept facility.
• Resident Engagement: engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
