Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a licensed cosmetologist in Minnesota to provide beauty services to residents and tenants in a not-for-profit senior care setting. The role requires infection control, wig consultation, and the ability to restyle wigs while maintaining compassionate, customer-focused care.

This full-time position offers day shift hours, with 32 hours weekly, and a comprehensive benefits package. Minnesota licensure is required, including a Salon Manager’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have current Minnesota cosmetology license.
• Minnesota Salon Manager’s License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides beauty services for residents and tenants while maintaining infection control standards.
• Educates residents on wig care and preservation techniques and assists with wig selection and restyling as needed.
• Restyles wigs as permitted and assists residents with wig care.
• Creates a relaxing, safe environment and ensures patient/resident comfort.
• Willing to work occasional Saturdays for events.
