Applicants must hold a State Board of Cosmetology certification and have at least two years of hair care experience, with strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license/certification is required.
• Two years of hair care/beautician experience is required.
• Ability to interact tactfully with patients/residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform haircuts, shampoos and permanents as requested by patients/residents and families.
• Conduct manicures or pedicures as requested.
• Maintain daily records of beautician charges with the business office.
• Manage inventory of beauty supplies based on need.
• Adhere to OSHA and HIPAA requirements and infection control standards.
