Job summary

DININGRD is seeking a Registered Dietitian for skilled nursing facilities to perform monthly onsite visits (24 hours/month) for food safety and sanitation audits, meal and dining observations, and nutrition referrals for high-risk residents.

You will collaborate with the clinical team to support residents’ nutritional needs while ensuring regulatory compliance and contributing to a positive, inclusive culture within a network of RD colleagues.

Qualifications

• Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
• Licensed (if required by State)
• 2 years of consulting experience is preferred, but we will consider many factors. Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required. Can you effectively prioritize multiple tasks? Do you have solid interpersonal and communication skills? Can you represent our company in a professional manner? Do you enjoy coaching and mentoring others?

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly onsite visits (24 hours/month) to complete food safety and sanitation audits.
• Conduct meal/dining observation audits.
• Address nutrition referrals for high-risk residents.
• Work closely with the clinical team to monitor residents' nutritional needs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; train and mentor dining staff.
