• Receiving and storing food and supplies; proper labeling and dating to prevent waste.

• Follow standardized recipes and diet orders; prepare sufficient quantities to meet service needs.
• Test and taste foods for appearance, flavor and temperature; adjust as needed.
• Time meals to meet service schedules; ensure trays are accurate before delivery.
