Awenasa Home Inc in Millis, MA is seeking a Health Care Aide (CNA) to join our senior care team. This role supports residents with daily activities, medication management, and companionship, working closely with nursing staff.

Full- or part-time positions are available. Current CNA or CMT license required; experience with seniors preferred. Applicants should be physically able to assist with mobility and lifting up to 20-25 lbs, while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Current CNA or CMT license required.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors is preferred.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 20-25 lbs.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Good health and freedom from communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with all care needs including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining and mobility support.
• Managing residents' medications as per rules and regulations; training provided.
• Engaging residents through interaction and programs/activities.
• Working with nursing team to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment; assist with resident rooms.
• Help with cooking and cleaning the residence as needed; other minor maintenance tasks.
