Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our senior living community. You will administer prescribed medications, support resident care, and help create a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

We value strong communication and teamwork, and you will collaborate with the Healthcare Coordinator on training, documentation, and incident reporting while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• CMA certification in good standing required.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and supporting resident mobility.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing standards.
• Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes to healthcare staff.
• Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and communications with families and providers.
• Support residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) on training, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
