Job summary

Belmont Healthcare Center is seeking a Part-Time Activities Assistant to support residents with personalized activity care and social engagement. You will work directly with residents, plan and lead a variety of activities, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote well-being.

The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, and organized, with a willingness to work with residents who have dementia or confusion and a commitment to enriching daily life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with activities software applications preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities.
• Basic computer literacy and skills.
• Active state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized activity care and services for residents.
• Work as a team member within the activities department and interdisciplinary units.
• Engage residents and foster socialization and community involvement.
