Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist in cardiovascular to cover the Cleveland West area. You will engage Health Care Providers, promote approved indications, and stay current with data across cardiovascular medicines.

The role emphasizes scientific dialogue, cross-functional collaboration, and field-based engagement with healthcare professionals, supported by CE^3 and SOPHIA tools.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
• Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to physicians.
• Demonstrated credibility with customers and strong customer-centric mindset.
• Cardiovascular experience preferred.
• Strong account management skills and proven sales performance.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Promotional and selling skills demonstrated through track record.

Responsibilities

• Promotes approved indications within a defined territory to meet sales targets.
• Articulates clinical rationale to drive demand for medicines.
• Maintains scientific expertise across products and therapeutic areas.
• Prepares territory/account plans and uses SOPHIA to inform call plans.
• Provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
• Conducts in-office presentations and discusses information consistent with label.
• Organizes external speaker programs and manages scheduling/logistics.
• Engages with Medical on Call for real-time clinical questions.
