Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative for cardiovascular products in the United States. You will be the main contact for medical professionals, providing clinical knowledge and guiding payer navigation to improve product access and utilization.

The role includes implementing marketing strategy, promoting Amgen products, building and servicing accounts, and aligning with the District Manager on territory plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR
• Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Senior: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related OR
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related OR
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals and drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct programs to achieve territory sales targets.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including discussions based on customer needs and reimbursement considerations.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance; develop plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialist.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products throughout the sales cycle to build the brand while prioritizing patient impact.
