Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative to provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to health-care professionals and navigate payer environments. This field-based role supports marketing strategies, promotes access, and drives territory growth across specified regions.

You will build relationships with providers, deliver education, and work with a District Manager to meet sales goals while upholding Amgen values and patient focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales and/or healthcare/clinical experience not in sales OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales/clinical experience OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales/clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct programs to meet or exceed territory targets (in-person and virtual).
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including access, reimbursement, and contracts.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
• Maintain passion for Amgen products throughout the sales cycle and uphold Amgen values.
